Red Bull Studios is Red Bull’s stand-alone Film and TV Studio with the mandate to fund, produce and distribute premium programming from the world of Sports and beyond.Headquartered in Salzburg, Austria, with offices in LA and London, Red Bull Studios is behind the BAFTA, Grierson, and Rose d’or award-winning documentary THE REAL MO FARAH, Emmy nominee and SXSW Audience Award winner THE DAWN WALL, and the Austin Film Festival Audience Award winner BORN TO FLY about Track & Field superstar Mondo Duplantis. The team has also been involved in other award winning films backed by Red Bull such as the Emmy award-winning documentary THE ALPINIST and THE LONGEST WAVE, directed by Joe Berlinger. Additional upcoming projects include REGGAE GIRLZ about Jamaica’s Women Soccer team, directed by two-time Oscar winner Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Trish Dalton, DAKAR about the iconic off-road motor rally by the same name, directed by Cesar winning Director Jalil Lespert, and THE BALLOONISTS directed by Grierson, Peabody, and BAFTA award-winning director John Dower which tells the untold story of the first aeronauts to circumvent the globe in a hot air balloon.
